We are hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst licensed in Arizona.

Job Description

-Communicates clearly, compassionately and respectfully, with clients, caregivers, colleagues, and community partners
-Contributes equitably to projects involving others
-Communicate client progress with all relevant caregivers
-Accept corrective feedback to identify and resolve mistakes

-Conduct a variety of behavioral assessments, including Functional Assessment and Analyses (i.e. reversal designs, multiple-baseline designs, concurrent operants, etc.) and Skills Assessments (e.g. VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, etc.).
-Create and implement positive behavior support plans including research on evidence-based strategies as necessary for individual clients
-Implement  behavioral recording tools and measurement
-Monitor and analyze ABA data to evaluate progress

-Design and monitor ABA  curriculum for clients
-Coordinate schedules with families, schools, and support professionals while remaining flexible to participate in meetings and sessions.
-Complete session notes within 24 hours, monthly progress reports, and assessment/treatment plan reports.
-Occasionally travel up to 100 miles or more per day for direct service and supervision
-Supervise employees according to BACB guidelines, complete BACB supervision paperwork monthly
-Reduce problem behaviors and increasing replacement and incompatible behaviors (i.e. aggression, self-injurious behaviors, property destruction, elopement, threats of harm).

-Mediate uncomfortable social situations in structured team meetings as well as in home and school environments, including work with legal professionals, advocates and paralegals.
-Maintain professional relationships

-Ability to work with individuals with values or beliefs different from their own.
-Speak to small and large audiences in public forums

Preferred Qualifications

BCBA licensed in Arizona and credentialed by the BACB as a supervisor, with 3 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges
Experience conducting/supervising both comprehensive and focused services in home and community settings

About Kaibab Behavioral Services

Kaibab Behavioral Services, PLLC outpatient clinic provides counseling using a behavioral model and functional approach to treatment methods. Kaibab Behavioral Services, PLLC conducts functional behavior assessments, facilitates development of Positive Behavior Support Plans, and develops teaching programs using the science of Applied Behavior Analysis for homes, schools and community-based settings. Services are provided on a weekly or monthly basis depending on the client’s needs identified in the service plan. Each of these are systematic assessment and treatment approaches originally based on B.F. Skinner’s analysis of behavior and the subsequent contributions of other contemporary behavior analysts. Therapy is individualized to each person based on an initial assessment and continually modified based on the person’s progress on measurable goals.
